Arnaud Cuisset is a permanent member of LPCA since Sep. 2004. He obtained its habilitation to supervise researches in Nov. 2014 and became professor in Sep. 2017. Between 2009 and 2017, he was elected at the head of the ULCO physics department and managed a team of about thirty lecturers/professors from 3 laboratories (Laboratory of Physical-Chemistry of the Atmosphere, Laboratory of Oceanography and Geosciences and Unit of Dynamics and Structure of Molecular Materials). In Jan. 2016, he became coordinator of the LPCA’s « Molecular Physical-Chemistry and Instrumentation » topic of its lab, involving around fifteen permanent staff and ten doctoral / postdoctoral fellows working around three areas: technological breakthroughs in instrumentation, metrology and sensors for the environment, spectroscopy and molecular modelling. In Jan. 2020, he was elected Director of the Research Pole “Environmental and Technological Mutations” of ULCO gathering 7 research unities with around 190 permanent scientists. With around 90 publications referenced in SCOPUS database and 28 invited talks in international conferences, his research activities focused on rovibrational spectroscopy and molecular modelling of gas phase compounds with environmental interest find an international recognition. Over the last 10 years, the search for funding and the complete or partial writing of research projects responding to international, national and internal calls constituted a significant part of its research activity. He has obtained several ULCO grants (Quality Research Bonus), grant involving private company and European funds (TERAWASTE project) and led several work packages in national and European projects (ANR-11-ASTR-0035 MEGATHIREX; ANR-11-LABX-0005-01 CAPPA; H2020-MSCA-RISE ATMOS (WP1)). |
