On June 19, 2024, the 4th day of doctoral students from the MTE center in Dunkirk took place. During this day, the different laboratories of the Cluster came together to share a moment of conviviality around presentations on their respective research as well as presentations on the Communications activities of the Cluster.
We thank Luyao ZOU for his presentation focused on his experience as Junior Professor Chair (CPJ) at the LPCA as well as all the LPCA students who actively participated in this day. So we had the pleasure of listening to Fabien Simon’s thesis project in the format Ma Thèse en 180 s (MT180), of listening to Pauline Haezebrouck and Mariam Mcheeck during the presentation of their poster in 5 minutes and of listening Reem Al Mawla, Zeinab Daher and Sandy Solaiman through both types of presentation.
We particularly congratulate Zeinab Daher for winning the best MT180 presentation award by taking us into the magical world of chemical sensors and Sandy Solaiman for winning a best poster award with the presentation of her research on the atmospheric reactivity of oxidized compounds terpenes.
We hope that all his presentations will motivate even more students to participate next year and also to participate in the official My Thesis in 180 seconds competition in order to represent ULCO at the regional, national level… and why not win first place of this competition.
We obviously also thank Dominique Schneider as well as the entire Pôle MTE team for organizing this day. The LPCA at the 4th Doctoral Students’ Day of the Pôle MTE
