As part of the 2023 Heritage Days, the LPCA will offer 4 separate visits of 30 minutes each:
1/ Visit to the Mobile Atmospheric Unit, a functional and versatile “Laboratory Truck” allowing the study of the effects of atmospheric dynamics on pollutants and their consequences on health. The different instruments that can be deployed during intensive on-site measurement campaigns will be presented.
2/ Visit of the instrumented terrace with its meteorological radar and LIDARs for wind characterization.
3/ Visit of the scanning electron microscope for atmospheric particle analyses.
4/ Visit of the atmospheric simulation chamber where the potential use of a prototype atmospheric pollutant detector will be presented.
