LPCA at France Bleu Nord
The LPCA was invited by France Bleu for two broadcasts to promote the Fête de la Science 2024 on the theme ‘Ocean of Knowledge’.
As part of the weekly radio show “Planète Bleu”, broadcast on the Radio France Bleu station, three researchers from the Hauts de France region were invited. This was the France Bleu magazine dedicated to the environment. Presented by the host Annick Bonhomme, the question asked this week, in connection with the Fête de la Science from 04/10/2024 to 24/10/2024 was: “What is the place of the ocean in our lives?”
This question was asked to the three guests:
Patrick Augustin: Research engineer, physicist from our Laboratory
Lionel Denis: Professor at the University of Lille, ecologist at LOG,
Alain Trentesaux: Professor at the University of Lille, geologist at LOG.

LPCA on France 3 Hauts-de-France
On the 12/13 TV News on Thursday, October 3 on France 3 Régions Hauts-de-France, journalist Céline Rousseaux invited Patrick AUGUSTIN, research engineer from the Laboratory, on the occasion of the 33rd edition of the Fête de la science, which will take place from October 4 to 14, 2024. Patrick Augustin spoke in particular to:
- talk about meteorological phenomena,
- raise public awareness of science and its challenges,
- promote the sharing of knowledge between researchers and citizens
- promote the work of the scientific community,
- and promote the 150 events in 60 municipalities in Hauts-de-France as part of the Fête de la Science 2024.
