On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the #RSCposter 2025 event organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry on LinkedIn, the LPCA was brilliantly represented by three doctoral students: Mariam Mcheek, Reem Al Mawla, and Sandy Solaiman!
They captivated the audience with innovative posters and powerful videos. Here are the titles of their work, whose posters can be found in the dedicated category of our website:
– Mariam Mcheek: “Exploring Chalcogenide Glass: Structure and Properties for Mercury Detection”
– Reem Al Mawla: “Atmospheric Fate of Prenol, a Second-Generation Biofuel, in Simulation Chambers: Insights into Kinetics and Gaseous/Particulate Oxidation Product Formation”
– Sandy Solaiman: “Study in the Atmospheric Simulation Chamber: CHARME of the Reactivity of the First-Generation Oxidation Products of Monoterpenes: Implications on Air Quality and Climate”
In her video, Sandy immerses us in a zen atmosphere while sharing her research on the reactivity of terpene oxidation products (>link<). Reem, for her part, leads us into a captivating duel between good and evil in the world of the atmospheric reactivity of biofuels (>link<).

A huge congratulations to Sandy Solaiman, who won the award for Best Poster in the Environment category, and to Reem Al Mawla, who won one of three awards for Best Accompanying Video!
It was a pleasure for us to participate in this online event bringing together doctoral students and researchers from all over the world and we salute the organizers of the Royal Society of Chemistry as well as the members of the various juries for their work. We would also like to thank @ErrantScience for recognizing Reem’s work through a cartoon during this competition.
